| Report: | The second week in a row taking home maximum points for Kenilworth firsts. 5th string Phil Evans in a victory that was tighter than the 3:0 scorline suggests. Tom Perry at 4 with his trade mark flowing style was comfortable despite dropping the third set. Ian McKenna sharing the 3rd string Position with his good lady wife on alternate weeks was pushed in the last set to a tie break, but kept the 3:0 clean sheet. James Piddington had a dreadful start losing 9 Point in a row to lose the first set steadied the ship to get the 3:1. A heroic Guy Pearson didnt let the side down despite being below par due to an undisclosed bacterial infection, sealing the 5:0 Team win with a 3:0 of his own. |
